Is there a ship date for Scouts?

subject says it all (grin).

I know it was sent to the Printer, so I am hoping for more than (when it comes back) - although I understand that may be the only answer available.

Enemies Within, Scout, Corporation, Adventures in the Hyborian Age, Age of Dreadnoughts, Fronela, Hunters of Granbretan, and Pocket Spycraft are either all at print right now, or are already sitting in our warehouse ready to be sent out. Most of these you will see by the end of the month, a small handful may lap round into the first week or so of March because of the way distribution (and the logistics behind it) works. Most, if not all, of these books will incidentally, be available at our Corporation Day - another good excuse to turn up!

Those of us on the other side of the pond will have to wait till after Corporation day :)

Perhaps, perhaps not no ship date is given might ship before then. Or one could hop across the pond and go see about picking it up. If one was that desperate for it.

Hey guys,

This just turned up at our office today, and will be in stores next week!

YAHOO!!

Hopefully those of us in the US will have it before the end of the month then!!

I'll talk to the Manc lads, tell them to keep an eye out for next week's order sheets - they get them around the end of the week, and new deliveries turn up on Wednesdays.

Due to the costs, I wouldn't be able to collect mine until I knew for certain what there was a copy in the shop, but they know me well enough to know that where I am concerned, any Traveller title is pretty much a guaranteed sale. My only regret is that I couldn't do this trip to Manchester more often.

My pre-order copy arrived today.

Have only flicked though it so far. It' looks nice enough, but I'm not overwhelmed. I don't like the trend for pages and pages of deck plans that will almost never get used - some stats and an illustration are more than enough.

1. Lucky bugger.

2. It isn't a trend, it's a decision: IIRC it was Matt who stated, "no ship without a deckplan". Some of us really, really like them. And I've used some now simply because they exist ("hmmm. they could actually search the ship instead of just resolving a task roll"). To each his own, though. Me, I'd do fine without the illustrations and general art, and get more text. I'm a mutant that way, I admit. Still, it's generally good art.
