What’s the purpose of this? It’s obvious that is completely ignores High Guard and most other Traveller rules. I’m just wondering why you posted this? This is a 20 dTon J1 M1 ship designed to haul 10 corpsicle & 1 crew member.

It's all grist for the GMs mill.I like to see the things other people do with the system, even if it is not something I'm going to adopt myself. If someone's excited about the game and wants to share their creation, that's good in my book.
Yeah, IMTU Ship Shares are just counted as investment capital, so you can use them to buy commercial vehicles/equipment, such as Mining Bots.Probably because it is clearly stated it is for his universe. There are many people who do not slavishly apply every detail of the Third Imperium to their own Traveller setting.
There are many settings, Traveller was designed to be a toolkit to make your setting your own.
As an example if your setting is more akin to Star Wars then smallcraft capable of ftl are commonplace.

Yeah, I noticed that you ditched the minimum 5-ton for jump equipment thing, but I never used to use that. I didn't mention it because IYTU the rules can be whatever you want them to be. I have started using the minimum tonnage rule for the last several years, but that is a relatively recent development on my part. I still kept the minimum 100-ton vessel for jump, but just scrapped the 5-dton minimum.Reread the Title. IMTU
I have a 10 ton min "bridge" for 100 dTon Jump ships, most of that being jump electronics. 5 dTon for non Jump 100Dton ships.I still kept the minimum 100-ton vessel for jump, but just scrapped the 5-dton minimum.
I designed a suit of jump capable battledress using FF&S...
Thank you for speaking for MarcusIII since you don’t believe he can speak for himselfProbably because it is clearly stated it is for his universe. There are many people who do not slavishly apply every detail of the Third Imperium to their own Traveller setting.

Maybe be I should reframe my question. Why would anyone build a jump ship specifically to carry corpses from one system to another? Now I’ll freely admit that I think giving a ship this small jump makes no sense to me this is not a Charted Space opinion it has more to do with travel times now if you listed hyper drive or stated a Jump only takes a day or two I could more easily see it. So I’m interested do you have jump fighters in your setting your rules indicate you should, how about jump missiles if jump drive has no minimum size seems like that would be the ultimate weapon.Reread the Title. You are very welcome I am happy to help.Thank you for speaking for MarcusIII since you don’t believe he can speak for himself
Where are the rules for stutterwarp? Why is every ship example from the Third Imperium setting? As for slavishly apply I don’t consider HG as a Charted Space Splat book like you do
yes that would be a good idea.Maybe be I should reframe my question.
Many reasons, but you may want to go back and read the OP - corpsicles is slang for living passengers carried in low berths. So your question, while interesting, is not relevant to the design. Why would anyone build a jump ship specifically to carry corpses from one system to another?
This is entirely dependent on how you rate hyper drives and warp drives etc. A jump 1 drive moves a ship one parse in seven days which is 170 x the speed of light. Rate that in Star Trek warp numbers..,Now I’ll freely admit that I think giving a ship this small jump makes no sense to me this is not a Charted Space opinion it has more to do with travel times now if you listed hyper drive or stated a Jump only takes a day or two I could more easily see it.
How would a jump missile be an ultimate weapon? In your opinion. So I’m interested do you have jump fighters in your setting your rules indicate you should, how about jump missiles if jump drive has no minimum size seems like that would be the ultimate weapon.
