Click to expand... I reckon you could do one or more of: Have an improvised weapon do normal unarmed damage (1d3) but bump up its Size and/or Reach by 1 (sometimes two) steps. Give it additional combat manoeuvres (e.g. stun location or bleed) Bump up the damage to 1d4 or maybe more for really big heavy things. Personally I would do the first two things. If someone picks up something big and 2-handed (e.g. a 2x4 plank) I would also add +1 damage.
