Annnnd.... back to vehicles

Worked up the G-carrier. gave at a hghly sloped look for extra protection and streamlining this version is only lightly armed with Machine guns/VRF guas guns, and rocket pods.
It has sliding doors on both sides, and a drop ramp at the rear. It has an All Weather optic system for the pilot, as well as optics on the chin turret for the gunner.

This is a heavier version that can fullfil the role of a light gunship assault transport. Its cargo bay is just big enough for a fire team/scout party but it has a LOT more firepower in the form of rocket pods and tac-missile clusters. It alslo mounts waist/wing guns to allow for supressing possible infantry hostiles in the immediate area of a landing zone, teh Wing guns can be fitted with heavier guns such as plasma guns, or light autocannon is desired.

Both vehicles should be able to sustain transonic or supersonic flight, which allows for fairly rapid orbit to surface and transcontinental flight.

I like it, not sure I would call it a G-Carrier, but I like it....

G-Carrier like Air/Raft leads me to visions of more Automotive based/inspired craft.

Actually I think this is much closer to the Infamous Grav Gunship...

the traditional Grav carrier is basically an RV or m-113 without its wheels or tracks. a civilian version might stick with that look but that poses problems with moving at high speeds. With a blunt forward face it would be almost impossible for it to break the sound barrier. That would be vital for a military vehicle. Also sloping the armor enhances protection without increasing mass.
