I spend some time away, and the world goes mad . . . . . . .

I spend some time away, and the world (once again) goes mad.

I fully appreciate that Mongoose is a business and hard decisions always have to be made (on a personal note I am gutted I never got any Skinnie Brutes) and if something isn't a chas cow it has to go the way of all things nowadays that don't turn a profit.

But (in the words of Gabriel Cash) with regards to the status of SST -
This F***ing Sucks!

Lt.! Good to see you posting again. Personally I blame you for the bad news. Seems like every time you go away then come back things worsen a bit. LOL!

Would a Chas Cow be subject to Mad Cow disease?

I was swallowing some hoola hoops when I scrolled down and saw the chas cow. Choked and laughed at the same time, LOL!

Sgt. Zim: "MOOOOoooove it, trooper!"

Yeah, I blame everthing on LT . It makes me feel better as I had thought I had killed CTA. You see, I bought my first minis for it the week before the news.

Oh yeah, welcome back LT.

Well at least there is something to laugh about during this whole thing. Welcome back, LT.

It seems like every time I go away (this time due to a road accident) something horrible happens doesn't it . . . .

as a fellow RTA victim you have my sympathy Lt. Good luck with the healing! :D

So your luck hasn't cleared up much then? I'm really sorry to hear that. It's kind of funny to say this (especially given my relative inactivity here of late), because I don't actually tend to spend a lot of time on-line, but I actually do feel like I've met some cool friends on here and lately the prospect of losing not just the game, but possibly the comunity kind of bums me out a little. Take care of yourself LT!

On a side note- I must admit to throwing up a smokescreen when I blamed all this on the Lt. It's actually all my fault. I stopped playing 40K about a year before 3rd edition came out, and since then, every single game I get into is eventually cancelled! My friends call me the game killer. There's actually a few games at my LGS that no one will let me play for fear of the game ending! Seriously. There's an entire corner of the store dedicated to me that they call "The Island of Misfit Games". It's basically all the left over merchandise (heavily discounted) of games that died out. It's kind of like a time capsul of the last 10 years of my life. LOL.
BuShips- I actually bought my first B5 merchandise THE DAY THEY MADE THE ANOUNCEMENT! I got home from the store and BAM! So anyway, I would just like to take this opportunity to apologize to my fellow Forumites, as well as to MGP for taking interest in SST, and thus subsequently killing it... My bad :(

No offense Lt, but you perhaps should consider lucky charms? Sad to hear about the accident though, hope you get well!

As for SST, it really does suck, especally since I just got a friend into it.

Glad to have you back again though, Lt!

You really ought to get back into 40k :P
