How will the main rulebook differ from box game rules?

I'm just wondering about some of the ways the main rulebook differs from the rules and stat cards we get in the unit boxes.

Will the unit stats and rules change from the cards, or will they just be clarified a bit more?

Will there be an option for different types of armies, such as in SST where the MI could take a PAMI platoon or an exosuit platoon and have their army building rules change?
 
When I talked to Matt at the Open Day he said that each unit choice filled a 'slot' in the army kinda like the current force organisation system so I guess it's not a massive change from the current SST.

The unit rules are purely on the cards IIRC so the rulebook wouldn;t change that.

The way I see it going is like with Privateer Press where all the rules you actually NEED are in the box but rules for other things, like flyers for example would be in the rulebook, along with scenarios, fluff and other shiny stuff.
 
Yup, the main rulebook will offer advanced rules in addition to the basic rules, some army info (no stats, just some optional rules and platoon compositions), scenarios, and a campaign system.
 
that would make me go crazy, knowing what will come in three or four months,, I've been waiting long enough for these rules and minis:D
