A friend says that approaching the half-way point of her Pirates of Drinax Campaign The Pcs took out A Cr 500,000,000 loan to fully upgrade their Starport from Wildemann with GeDeCo. They then did blackmailed GeDeCo with what they knew to write off them debt then still sold what they knew to The Aslan and The Imperial for Cr 130,000,000 and 1 2,000 ton Carrier off of both, now The Trojan Reach Branch of The GeDeCo has been abolished and thanks to The Zhodanni Drinax took their place and are now A Major Player in The Trojan Reach Branch despite Adventure 10 being at least 20 real-life weeks and at least 25.5 in-game years away. So what she and I both want to know I just how much have The Pcs pissed off The GeDeCo

1) 500,000,000 loan, my god - why are you/your "friend" lending that much out to your players
2) where they in debt to GeDeCo as well before this in order to blackmail them to write off a debt?
3) What on earth did they have to sell that was worth 130 mill to the Aslan?
4) How did the players get/crew a 2,000 tonne carrier?
5) Did they players really accumulate such massive resources in only 20 weeks of play??????
6) Again, why are you asking instead of your "friend" bringing it here?

I'm puzzled about the ability to predict when the finale will occur. Of all the players I've ever met, the only ones whose actions could be predicted ahead of time were those who put up with massive railroading. Everyone else tended to behave in a rather less predictable manner. On a related note, is this ANOTHER referee who hands out container shiploads of credits to the players, or one of the many we've heard about who all seem to be playing the same campaign in the same ridiculously over-powered way.

Once again.... try a smaller scale. These questions don't come up that way, and the focus shifts to people doing stuff. Which is what the game is really about.
