How Big Will Your Games Get . . . . . . . .

Largest game I ever observed was as an Outrider for the EE. It was an Outrider only game involving 14 to 16 Outriders with 2000 plus points each. Done with Profesionally built scenery from HQ on a 5-6foot by 20 plus foot long table with a giant Cathedral at table center and the Eternal Emperor showed up as well (special custom one-off sculpt).
Truly incredible to see approximately 30,000 points on the table at once. Every possible Army at the time was represented somewhere on the table.
I personally feel SST would make a much nicer game at that points level.
Should add it was a Second Edition Battle so the number of modifiers, uber munchkin character figures on the table and just plain (not) complexities of resolving combats were incredible. Being an after hours, not open to the public venue, it was great to see Outriders brews in hand fighting their armies.
Love to see something comparable in SST.

I voted for the largest number... I have about 3500+ points of arachnids myself, plus i have a friend with about half that.
Versus that, i have a Full Platoon(6 squads) of Cap troopers, a platoon of Pathfinders, and soon a small platoon each of marauders and Light Infantry.
I also have about 2000 points in skinnies, and i haven't bought anything other then the tyrant, warchief, raiders and soldiers!
We've played 3-4 4000 point games so far. i can't see us NOT playing more, if we have the resources. at the club we play at, we have many 4x6 tables, so we can toss on an extra table or 2 to facilitate those points.
