Honour Student

i think the honour student needs some modification all it does is make it easier to get a job by two point in certain classes with a required 11+ roll
i just think it should have some other effect like maybe int+1 or even like starting at rank 1 instead of zero in a class or a non commisioned military class?

I think finding a job should depend on the world government you have. All kinds of possibilities there for how exactly one got their careers.

Well University does add Edu +3 total, +2 for the Honours aspect of it. +1 for the basic course. You might be able to get a GM to let you split the +2 into a +1 Edu and +1 Int, or maybe swap it to a +2 Int if the Gm allows it.

The +3 Edu boost really spins things up. I rolled a character for practice, put a 9 into Edu, got the medic Level 2 and ended with a 12 EDU. Easy to get a job as a ship's doctor with those skills. Gives a +4 DM to a roll.

the graduation bonuses give that not with honors unless it is horibbly misworded
