High guard : not published but yet available???

There is something strange, High Guard is still in the "Next Month's Releases" section and yet I have bought it today in my favorite game store in France.

I read somewhere in this website that the game release was postponed because of printing problems. But have some copies been sent to distributors before the printing problem was detected?

In my book, almost all the entries are missing in the "contents" section (page 1), some pages have been badly cut (page number is really close to the border).

Is it possible to get a replacement for the book (don't tell me I have to send the book back to Mongoose, it would cost me more than simply buying another one) ?

Buy a new one and save the old one as a collector's item ... someone will probably be willing to but it from you now.

Contact Mongoose to figure out if it is a good one or a recalled one. That store might have gotten one quickly because of connections or etc.

I know which French company is importing it and then selling it to the local retailers. I would not be surprised if this same company did not care about a book interesting so a few customers in France. Traveller products have never been a great hit this side of the Channel and the French Traveller is really a lone folk, believe me.

Problem is about to be solved, as suggested I contacted Matthew Sprange who answered today. I would like to underline the professionalism of Mongoose Publishing (it seems to be shared by ComStar), this is something very uncommon in our hobby.
