Mongoose
Morning,as in 5:40 AM, from the Pacific Northwest Condottiere,
My apologies for not being precise is my comments concerning the atmospheres that a partially streamlined can land and take-off from. Per PDF CRB 2e page 143 partially streamlined hull's can "...skim gas giants and enter Atmospheres 3 or less, acting in the same way as streamlined ships. In other atmospheres, the ship will be ponderous and unresponsive, reliant on its thrusters to keep it aloft. All pilot checks will be made with DM-2."
I do not have T5 yet, but exceeding the factor one limit would cause bits and pieces to fall off.

One thing that Tea Five does point out is that dispersed structures, or a cluster stuck together, are rather more fragile than standard ones, and limits acceleration to factor one.
I don't recall if there is any mention of what happens when you exceed that limit.
