Hex Circle Generator

Okay, maybe I'm not looking for it in all the right places, but I am at the end of my rope. Does anybody know where I can find a generator for a system so that it will generate the circle representing the star, and all the other symbols as necessary that are found on page 167 in the core book?

Some sort of app that let's you populate a map with symbols or a program that generates and creates subsectors?

Neither. Those exist. What I want is the following - you input a planet code. Something like A669939-B N S Ag Ga Hi Ht. The program then generates a circle, inputs the planet name at the bottom of the circle and put down that there is a gas giant, a naval base, and a Scout base into the circle.

Interesting. Would this be to manually populate a subsector or will this be for a single hex display maybe to paste in to a subsector map? Essentially, what is the purpose?

The was and may still be a program called Heaven and Earth that let you tailor each system hex on the map.

Manually populate. Because I'm doing the Babylon 5 thing, and unfortunately, the subsector generators that I found don't allow you to import your own names, sadly. Also, since I'm doing it in roll 20, the size of the hexes don't match up and it's driving me mad.

Here is a Hex Circle I generated: (The first digit in the hex number is the number of parsecs up or down, but you can ignore that if you like.)

I have written a Python script that can convert the subsector data from a text file into a svg graphic - including symbols for bases and gas giants in the hexes. Send me a message with your email address if you are interested.
