Heroes Shipped?

Sir Brad

Banded Mongoose
Looks like Heroes has Shipped (or will do so in the next day or so) as it's no longer a Pre-Order, but Summerland a book that's bean in development longer still isn't ready to go out, Is this so or have I just bean poking around the Store wile their still updating the order options?

Note the Question mark it's as much a query as a statement of what I've noticed, Summerland hasn't left Pre-Order 12 hours after I noticed.

Drive-Thru dosen't get new releases for 4-6 weeks from Mongoose, I'd enjoy being able to buy a PDF of my new LW books on their release date as it takes about 2-3 weeks for my Dead Tree Format books to arrive in OZ from the UK after the release date (provided something doesn't hold them up longer).

I know what you mean. Even in the UK, I'd like to get hold of a PDF version as soon as the print one is released. I find the two options combined give me the greatest benefit especially in the initial stages of reading through the book and getting to know the new rules.

An other Game Company who's offerings I enjoy actually dose Bundles, you get the PDF as soon as it goes to the Printers (if you Pre-Order before the book goes to the printers) and your DTF ships when they send them out to Distributes and Shops. Even with P&H to my part of the world it still works out cheaper for the bundle than the shelf price of the City Store (and I mean singular) and it takes me a half day (or more) to schlep my ass all the way in to town make the buy and get home.

Yeah, I've experienced that too. Its a great model and I hope that other companies will take it up although I think that many will move to a core PDF release and POD model instead due to increasing print, and associated material, costs.
