I just called a local shop and asked about Mongoose products, and the game shop told me that Mongoose was coming out with a "collectible" version of Starship I corrected them and he changed his description of what was actually being released. I then asked him if the lines were going to be supported both painted and unpainted. Long story short, is the game going to be available in both unpainted and prepainted? If so do the reps who sell this to retailers need to make sure that the shop owners don't sink this before it gets started?

1. Tell your LGS that it isn't a collectable game at all, it will come in unit packs like before, but with clear fronts so you know exactly what you're getting.
2. They will come pre-painted to an extremely high standard.
3. They will be made out of hard plastic, rather than other companies usual bendy plastic.
4. They will come with a short version of the new rules, and rules for the unit, like confrontation.
5. They will be repaintable, so not a worry to a modeller.
6. The first packs are expected for release in April though.
