Help! 2300AD inspiratonal art

Mongoose
I am planning to run 2300AD in the near future and need to design posters and background art props. Therefore, I need images beyond what GDW produced that are related or have the 2300AD/Hard SF vibe. Thanks ahead of time.

Check out etrangre. As well, Steff Worthington has a Facebook page with the logos and design he did for 2320 that went unused due to QLI implosion. Ted Lindsey has some stuff on his web page too, more artwork for the now-dead-as-a-doornail 2320AD.

Any chance for links and the art being put up...I was hoping that we start something like the earlier Traveller Inspirational art...the previews that you showed me are very nice...but I am looking for more people...not vehicles...as our games are about people not chrome. Although, in 2300AD the line gets blurry.

Edit: Without prejudicing people, the modules Energy Curve, Bayen, and Nyotekun represent the quinessental pieces of 2300AD art.

But as an adventure, Energy Curve was, well, kinda dull. Just like the Klaxun are kinda dull. Neat, sure. But dull.

Check out Laurent Esmiol's atwork pages. Myself I have created from tanks and APCs for them, not too sure they are up yet. (I need a rather good Luftkissenpanzer from the original rules.)

Also http://www.foxx-industries.com/japan/japspace.htm some links further down to some art I did for them ages ago, good thing is the Kanji is correct.

I remember those. Doga, right?

You're a fan of 2300AD? Heh. Maybe we should talk. One or two sketchup-built isomorphic deckplans of a couple of 2300AD ships would make some nice filler, I think.

Oh yes those Japanese Warships where done in doga. Moved onto Sketchup (as you may have noticed) :) The chap who ran the old site was an American in Japan, so the Kanji was spot on.

Deckplans, could do something, current work permitting and all that.

WOW! Truly stunning artwork!

Still only getting starships and other vehicles...and no matter how uber cool they are...they are still not people which is what I am after.

For instance...

Colin, I disagree with you...Energy Curve is a great adventure when played right...much better than its ancestors - Misson on Mithral or Across Brightface. Hopefully, when the 'goose gets around to exploration adventures...it livens things up. Project Steel was a good attempt but more fun has to inserted...when I think exploration - the original Alien comes to mind...it need not be horror but bleak environments.
