Guide to the setting?

Hey all,

I am hoping that someone on this forum could give me a list of "must read" judge dred books for an absolute beginner.

I have never read a judge dred comic and I want to order a series of books to correct that situation.

Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Well, if you can get them where you are, the Judge Dredd: Complete Case Files volumes are a good bet.. but if you were looking for short collected arcs, I'd personally recommend:

The Cursed Earth
The Apocalypse War
The Day the Law Died
The Complete America

And Mongoose's Rookies Guides are quite handy, too.

I have already put the complete case files into my Christmas shopping list, with luck my wife may pick me up one or two.

They will go well with the GOMC1 stuff I have just purchased.

Yeah, get some case files. A lot of the graphic novels are in these too.
