leonpaul said:Hi back again, so basically burger and reaverman want the narn to field nothing but g'quans at all levels that is what i am getting, ships are normally designed for a specific role ie carriers, destroyers and subs
So delete some of the useless War variants that no-one ever uses.leonpaul said:but its gets varient overkill then, at the moment their is too many and you just want to keep adding. So people can use their favourite ship by the way the G'Quan is mine as well
hiffano said:ok, just think about it, in a raid tournament or a 5 point raid demo, No-one will take this truly iconic ship, as quite frankly, the G'Quan is not a great battleship. No-one ever takes the war level varients, and indeed in campaign play, I am probably one of the few people to take them, and I use the G'Lan varient.
if you want to get people playing a game, you need something iconic, the Vorchan (and varients), the Hyperion, The Omega, the Avioki(Kaliva) vorlons can all appear at raid level looking good and shiny,. A g'quan is a mere damage sponge and doesn't do itself any justice. Now, if you had a decent raid version it would A, get used, so people see another iconic chip, B break up the narn bat squad people use so often.
