thanks everybody for the kind comments.

Already started work on the 3 key questions listed above with regard to being able to supply. Please have patience will also take a few weeks to finish the model.

Bubba Ho-Tep - gravity pouring. Actually only the second model I have ever cast, although I have scratchbuilt & customised models for years. Was really suprised how easy its was to mould the long hull pieces, beginners luck no doubt. It is the curved wings that are the worst to cast.

What are you using for your molds? Is it non-vulcanized?

how sayed by many other peoples here on this post...

"absolut fantastic work"

REALLY.

the shown quality is awesome. you must have access to some good tools and resourcess for metal casting, or???

Bubba Ho-tep - I use a high temperature withstanding RTV silicone

brand;

(EA) Urobach - Your comments are very much appreciated.

My moulding equipment is pretty basic. After my wife refused
to let me use our gas cooker, (having worked in the explosives
industry for many years sometimes tends to dull my
perspective v safety) I bought a hot plate. I also use a
set of lab scales for making up the silicon, probably not
really essential. Other than that it is more following a set
process which I have built up over time from tips here and
there I am sure you do the same. e.g using Lego or first painting
on the silicon to ensure it gets into every part of the master,
kind of things I am sure you know well.

As you know I have been working through the list of
outstanding points I needed to sort out before I could
proceed.

I am very disappointed to tell you that I have just received
a response to one of the points on my list this morning,
(in my view the most important, I will leave you to
guess which one), which unfortunately means that it is
financially impossible for the G'kar project to continue

Thanks for all of the input and support, the other model ideas
I have buzzing around in my head will happen at some point
and when they happen, hopefully I will present them here, its
just that they will be living only in my display cabinet.

there is a link in the player resources section :-) if you are in work and it;s blocked, i'll go get it after i lunch!

G’Kar Class Advanced Heavy Cruiser Battle
The newest design to roll off the production lines of the Narn Regime the G’kar is to be the
replacement for G’quans and their variants. Designed to work closer with ISA forces the G’kar loses
the e-mines which are unsuitable for supporting WS attacks but carrys a large advanced mag gun to
provide long range firepower. As with all narn vessels the G’kar is solidly built and also makes use of
technology designed for the G’vrahn.
