First of all I would like to say hello to everyone, been lurking for far too long. You really have a great & productive group of people here.

I have been working on a miniture project for some months now, I work very slowly, as opposed to a certain German master modeller, and although it is not yet complete it has reached a stage where it can be shown;

The model is a meant to be a G'Kar heavy cruiser.

Thoughts?

Still have to make & mould the bridge and the underslung weapons which from the excellent PDF supplement by Katadder should be Ion Torpedoes although I may do some variants. By the way the two cruisers are completely different reds although not at all visible from the photo the G'Kar is Blood Red over a white basecoat.(which I now call the Cenaturi Orange finish).

Thanks for the comments.

Da Boss - Enjoyed Darkness Rising, I could'nt afford the number of miniature conversions your pdf makes me want to make. By the way I play Centauri as well I just don't/can't spell the name right when I wear a Narn hat.

Lord David the Denied - Simple answer to your availibility question is absolutely yes. few things to sort out first though;

1. Dont do resin, dont want to do resin, therfore ship heavy.
2. Need to complete model
3. Not my design. Only right I get permission from designer(s) to sell a few to CTA fans at zero profit. May be complicated. Originally saw design in GM Issue 14 (Mar 95) as R'Koth by Bryce Homick. The enhanced design has also appeared as the G'Kar by the clearly talented Amras Arfeiniel, (by the way my second favorite unmade design is this same mans Morshin). (Mongoose if you are listening we need a new Morshin and this guys design is fantastic).
4. A certain mastermodel maker is also rumoured to be making a G'Kar considering his contribution to this community it is only fair he gets precedence if he wants it.
5. I would also need to check with Matt that Mongoose have no furure plans to release this design.

Ah thank you for the kind words - am working on an updated version and If I can will include counters.
:)
re the Centauri- Glad to know you are not beyond help -

I would definitely buy a few of them off of you if you're able to make them available! Even if I can't use them "conventionally" (though I see Katadder has it in his Earth/Centauri war campaign), it definitely makes for an interesting model.

Cheers,

Dave (a "Dirty Narn Player" :) )

thanks everybody for the kind comments.

Already started work on the 3 key questions listed above with regard to being able to supply. Please have patience will also take a few weeks to finish the model.

Bubba Ho-Tep - gravity pouring. Actually only the second model I have ever cast, although I have scratchbuilt & customised models for years. Was really suprised how easy its was to mould the long hull pieces, beginners luck no doubt. It is the curved wings that are the worst to cast.
