Gifts in CotYK

This one is aimed at Loz, though I would like anyones thoughts or opinions.

Several of the cults have extended life as a gift, yet the gift list in Cults of the YK only shows Eternal Life. Is this a misprint or should this actually be two separate gifts?

Secondly, some of the Cults have Enchantment as a gift. It does not explain this on the combined list at all. I presume that an enchanted item from Magic of the YK is made available to the worshipper but how much of the bargainers soul(POW) is required to clinch the deal?
 
Its a misprint. Should be Extended Life.

And yes, for Enchantment: access to a weapon or other object with an inherent magical effect (such as the Ship of Land and Sea).
 
Loz,when you say access to,that suggests that the character does not possess but has the temporary use of said enchantment. Is that correct? I would also presume that the number of uses or length of the possession would be dependant on the pow sacrificed.
How many POW would you deem reasonable for
1) The use of a Virtuous blade to complete a single task that would further the characters cult.
2) The use of the same blade for the characters lifetime.

You're right; the cultist gets the item on loan. In the case of 1, then 1 POW. In the case of 2, difficult to say as it will vary from cult to cult and individual to individual. For lifetime use, you'd most likely have to be highly placed in the cult and been prepared to dedicate a fair amount of POW - say at least half your current POW stat.

But you really should adjudicate this to your own campaign.

After the current campaign I am running,I am planning on reworking "When Mad Gods Laugh". It's more high powered than I have attempted with the current ruleset. Meldic the Golden and Dharsu Dberac both have equipment that would be probably be classed as enchantments.Meldic especially. I intend to rework him as a Knight of Tovik.Darsu will probably remain a Sword Cultist, or possibly a confused member of the Cult of Terhali(given the Emerald setting of the third part of the campaign).
As you are familiar with those particular scenarios, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and utilised. :)
