Ghost Recon Evo-s rules now online

Mongoose
Hi all, i have now put togther some rules for Ghost recon warfighter game for the Evo-s System.

Evo-s is mine own idea, it takes the basic core rules from Battlefield Evo, and adds a little more detail and my ideas, to make it a smaller scale game.
Only infantry have acouple of changes and new rules, all tanks, trucks, etc have the same stats as BF evo.

Hope you like my new ideas, i had no time to playtest but on paper they seem good ideas, its now down to playtesters and feedback before i add new stuff.

You have detailed special forces, and a small selection of weapons to get you going.

If feedback is good, i will expand the weapons and add bad guys to fight against.

I have stuck to the infantry, as i do not want to give away all the new advanced rules and units etc coming out, and some of the special traits have been made up by me..

Just to show what great ideas and fun you can have when the rules come out to buy...

Well thats that a lot of hard work typing that out today, all the parts from the special forces section went straight from my head onto the screen, it was that fast....
Enjoy...
Alan

I really like the way you do Suppression in your Mod for individual models. I also think that your suggestion of having to test for Suppression each time someone dies within 3" is a good one - it introduces a sort of morale test, rather than just simulating ducking down and freezing when the lead is flying at you. One problem I could see with this, however, is that players will just make sure their models are over 3" away from each other. Maybe to counteract this you can give a +1 on the Training roll if a friendly unit is within 3".

I also think your Training stat is a good one. It is an excellent way of differentiating between Green, Regular and Veteran units, and could also be used to allow individual models to gain experience, in an RPG type way.

Just wanted to let people know i will be working on the basic bad guys for my system in the next 2 days, and will cover the types seen on todays battlefield i will focus on Terrorist units first.

Hi guys, need your thoughts, if you have read my system, you roll ACC and above on a d6, since 6 is the MAX on a d6, poorly trined troops with a ACC of 5+, add +2 for cover, is still a 6+ to hit with a D6 system, or would you like a 7+ system like GW, which means

ACC 5+ troops, need 7+ to hit a soldier in cover, so you need a 6 on a d6, and then a 4+ on a second roll...?
your thoughts please....

Standed troops are ACC 4+ ( like BF )
Elite are ACC 3+ ( means 5+ to hit somebody in cover )

Also, doe 360 player, GRAW 2 demo now on marketplace
Cheers all
