Do the effects of German optics and radar stack?
The optics give a +1 attack bonus for main guns at long or extreme ranges.
In good weather and during the day radar causes the long range penalty to be ignored while the penalty for attacking at long range is reduced to -1.
Given as how they're described in different ways they could stack.
I can logically see it both ways.
On the one hand superior optics would give a back up to the radar when it came to fire control and would help out.
On the other one you could argue that if you're relying on your radar to target then that's all you can use.
Any thoughts?
Edited to add:
Just read S&P Wargamer #41. In the battle report in there under turn one it seems to imply that they do stack. It says that the Germans detect their targets with radar and "along with" the +1 bonus the KM get they scored some good hits.
