Well I know which of his previousMongoose non Traveller licence works I'd like MJD to revisit, but I can't mention it by name as I promised msprange I'd stop nagging him about it for a while.

Just to fill in a gap, Martin has an open invitation to write Traveller material for us, but we understand his position.

We look forward to working with him again when we get round to A2089 once more...

I didn't mention that one by name, I'm not allowed to Matt, remember

You might not be, but that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to.

I do look forward to working on A2089 (I can say it... I'm allowed).

As to Traveller... I don't see much chance of that happening. The setup at FFE is such that any attempt to write OTU materials is inevitably mired in internal politics and other delays, long silences and pointless contradictions that it's simply not viable to do.

I've outlined to FFE what the problems are, and I've been repeatedly promised an end to the being-messed-about. But it's never happened and in the end even I lost patience.

I want to see the later novels, and what about writing A:2089 for Trav?

Ooooh, A2089 with MGT rules would be very interesting to me.

Firsted, (not seconded since I've been wanting this since Trav came out)

Shame on you stainless :D

A funny game, sort of a more complex early teck version of Battletech. Still any game that starts with a couple of mecha nuking brussels is always good fun

Also while MJD is playing with that time machine and getting 35 hours out of every day he can continue the saga of shotgun mike and the war of liberation where Britain fights to win its freedom from the souless armies of EUdom
