Geir
Emperor Mongoose
I said I would write this up when I got the chance, so here is the process I've developed over the years for writing up a character (or group) for solo adventures.
It steals from various sources here and there and has evolved over time. I've used it to run the entire PoD campaign a few years back, for some other less involved solo meanderings, and for most of the NPCs that I've submitted for JTAS over time. But it's just my own take on things, and in many ways, it sort of cheats (okay, it explicitly cheats, fine, I said it). But at least I try to be consistent about it.
Attached.
Coincidently, as I was proofing this little (14 pages and 8000 words, but more than half is an example and a ship design) document, today Paul Elliot at Zozer Games released an updated and fully compatible with Mongoose rules version of his Solo campaign rules. An excellent product, and I've used his earlier version at times took keep some order to the competing voices in my head. Highly recommended.
