Games Per Campaign

How many games does a typical campaign last for you?

I am organizing a GOMC1 league for a shop (from the local game night into a store!) and I was thinking that we should try and play 16-24ish games, at 2 games a friday night between 4-6 people thats a 4 week or one month league. But I was wondering how many weeks other people play it for? How many games are enough for a good "Season"?
