what size games do you think you will play ?

my mate tony likes larg games and int keen on skirmishes so i can se some 2-3k games being played, but my friend pete likes skirmishes more so against him il be mostly playing 1k

what about you guys ?

what size games do you play or intend to play, and this is open to MGP office guys.

I'll do what i always do, aim for so large games nobody else ever wants to game afainst me, :'(

In other games I aim for the minimum size because I have to be realistic about how much time and inclination I will get to actually paint them. Basically, I use the smallest tourney size as a guide. But with EVO being pre-painted....oh yeah baby, 5,000 POINTS! Six Abrams, two Super Cobras and enough Marines to take over a small island nation!

I'll be planning for about 600-1000pt games I think, enough for planning and being able to get in a few or four games in a day.

I've got no problems with playing an entire afternoon and evening w/ some buds in my garage, so 2,000 to 3,000 point armies should be up my alley.

3,000 points here...but for the first couple of months i guess 1500-2000

Already proxied a 1000 point game, from the looks of it, I'd say a 2000 point game is just right for me. That doesn't mean that we won't dish out a big 3000+ point game in the future.

Besides point values, I think our group will be making big use of the campaign rules.

2000-3000 for the average game on a 4x6' table. I'm planning an armor game with about six tanks on each side plus two or three helos on a 5x10' table. That should be about 4000-5000 pts.

Hard to say, at least at first probably just couple of squads per side. If my finances/time and have opponents then I will invest to larger army but I suppose around 1000 points games will the size of my game.

I'm already commited to running this at a mini-con at the end of March... I'm going to shoot for 1000pts per player. 2-6 players. And hopefully a second judge.
