DAYAM Doc, those look good.

Those the ones you got from me?.....I think i sold u some :)

Hey Mind=
whats the secret on those Gaim? That's a sweet paint job on em

*whistles admiringly*
Great work on the Novas, nice trick on the bases (and the winged hussars look excellent too).

Thanks! I'm, going to post some more tonight, probably my Olympus cruisers. I got the turrets from a guy on another board, but thanks for the offer basaint

Those Novas are without a doubt some of the finest i have ever seen. The broadsiding ones were very menacing. God help those pinned between 24 barrels of plasma cannon.

BTW, did you have to do much remedial work on them? I notice the front ends look crisp enough.

I have a couple of untouched Novas. The casting really really sucks..

I cleaned the models really good, but didn't do much to clean the cast. I have to say I got lucky. fortunately the cast was nowhere near as bad as the oracles though.

This is the EAS Demophon, The EAS Chromius, and the EAS Meges.

Once again bigger and More Pics at my blog

It's been a while since I last see an old scale Olympus. Your additions really brought them to life. I'm a bit of a stickler for scale, but they really are nice models.

And very bold painting on the Avenger there.. I'm beginning to regret not having any.

Anyway.. looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Yeah, I really love the older models, but i do regret their HUGE size. However by the time i got my Earth fleet together, I couldn't find any of the smaller sizes.

I hated the way the avenger is sculpted, It needs way more detail. If it had the Artemis' level of detail, but The Avenger body it would be a way better ship.

I've never liked the Avenger, which looks as though it could be cut from a cereal packet. That's the fault of the design, though, not your excellent paint job! (If I'd had any interest in working on ships which never appeared on screen, there'd have been an Avenger among Burger's 3D counters ages ago. :)

Judging by figures on B5Tech.com, the smaller Olympus is nearer in scale to the Hyperion and Omega. However, being smaller, it does not lend itself as well to detailing with pins and paint, where again you've done superb work. (When an Olympus appears on screen in "In The Beginning", it looks pretty big...)

Your Novas also look impressive. I just hope you have some Hyperions because I want to see what you can do with my favourite EA ship for appearance...

Beautiful ships dude

Couldn't agree more the avenger is so meh looking I didn't even bother picking one up. Your paintjob however really brings it to life. The artemis does have a cool amount of detail doesn't it.

Which one? I know of four definitions of BFG so far:
. Big ****ing Gun
. Battle Fleet Gothic
. Big Friendly Giant
. A beer named BFG, which I sampled at a beerfest recently. (Just to confuse matters there was also GFB from another brewery.)

I suppose a bridge full of beer might make the Avenger tolerable.

Wonder if that's any relation to the Frimley Kebab Centre, and their "FKC" sign that looks suspiciously similar to KFC?

Frimley kebab centre, ppfft, I wanna try the kebab shop near oxford, who do a donner on giant naan complete with bacon and 2 beef burgers...and chips... for a tenner, sure it's expensive, but bacon and 2 burgers on your humongous kebab? it has to be tried!

It seems as though the pile of stuff to paint keeps growing larger, no matter what I do to it. Despite that, I've got a small batch of new (and older stuff that just got photographed) to show.

First is a little bit of Narn stuff, with my usual hodgepodge of temporary bases. There was a Bin'tak to go with them, but the pictures I actually
tried taking of it I didn't like, so it'll just have to settle for all the other pictures I have that it's managed to sneak into.

My Flying Silo:

Next is a slew of hacked up, kitbashed, or scratchbuilt stuff, beginning with a pair of Raider freighters. This one is a missile-boat, ala the PnP Raider customizations.

This one is an anti-fighter style freighter:

This I had originally intended to be a Battlewagon, but it feels too small for that, too big for a freighter, and looks nothing like a carrier. Any ideas?

Last are a pair of scratchbuilt Centauri ships.

The first is a Corvan:

The next is a Centurion that grew just a little bit. I didn't feel I could do a serviceable job sculpting the nacelle just behind the neck, and it looked a little plain without something. So I put a Centauri style bridge on it, and now it's a Praetorian Fast Command Cruiser. If anybody has any ideas for stats, you're welcome to run with it. because at the moment, I haven't the faintest idea what I would try to do with it.

That's it for now, but I'm sure I'll have something to show again in a few months.

Good work!

The Battlewagon can also be used as a civilian transport. It appeared as such in the Crusade episode "Patterns of the Soul".

The anti-fighter freighter looks as though the Raiders have found some sort of wormhole and started plundering the Star Wars universe. :)

The one which is too small for a Battlewagon, too big for a freighter and is not a carrier, looks like an augmented civilian tanker.

And the scratch-built Centauri ships do not look scratch-built - if you had not said, I would not have guessed that the Corvan in particular was not an official miniature!

Piracy knows no borders, not even those between realities.

Thank you for the compliments, I'm pleased that the Centauri stuff passed muster!
