Frost Giant PCs?

I finally got a copy of Scrolls of Skelos (woohoo!), and have been reading it through. I noticed the little section in the Frost Giant description that talks about frost giant characters. ?? Do they really mean for players to be able to play frost giants, or are they referring to npcs? A frost giant pc seems a bit unbalanced.

I think they mean adding class levels to the base. I hope! :shock:

Any PC that would like to play a Frost Giant in my campaign can do so - with the caveat that their first encounter will be against Conan ala The Frost Giant's daughter. :wink:

Alternatively, one could just run a Frost Giants campaign, battling snow apes, roving man marauders, frost worms, frost sorcerors, etc.
