Freeport conversion

As I think of it and waiting for further Conan adventures, did you ever play the Freeport trilogy with Conan RPG?
I mean this is already an old classic and the plot seems quite appropriate with Conan.
Any comments?

That's a good idea! I hadn't even thought about using Freeport. I bet it would fit right in with just a little modification here and there. Lots of good stuff in those modules from what I remember. :twisted:

I'll have to dig mine out and let you know.

I have also thought about using the Lankhmar modules as well. 8)

I’m currently using the adventure ring of thieves from freeport,
Very easy to convert and the storyline just screams Conan, its perfect

I’ve used all the old DnD Lankmar stuff to help with Arejun where our campaign has been based for some time, si I’m also waiting to see what comes out of the mongoose coffers in regards to lankar adventures and how adaptable they are

I think both Lankmar and Freeport are great sources

I read some reviews and the first trilogy plot is a bit Lovecraftian with a secret society involved and snake-people.

I converted the first module of the trilogy and it worked like a charm. I think I put it in Argos

People, write adventure/campaign reports about them, I like reading that stuff and it often gives a good picture of what the adventure might be to run like in Conan.
