Also tonight I'm going to try something that only mod powers will let me do.

I'm putting a scenery idea and question up in BF Evo: Toruble is I could do with some input from the general modelling and painting area.

I'll see if I can use "Shadow Topics" for some use. If I'm right it'll let the topic be visible in both areas of the forum, even though it'll only exist in one of them.

I agree with Hiromoon. All too often since I have come here, I see one post from LBH and 1-3 posts from the same person complaining before the next LBH post. People should just let it go and stop competing.

LBH, is there a way to make topics that already exist Shadow topics? I'd like to see some more of that between the painting, rules master and ACTA threads. It sounds like a good idea if it does not create too much clutter.

I believe my mod powers allow me to do so.

I did it once by accident, you get a topic in forum A, then move it to forum B, but tick the "Leave Shadow Topic option"

The thread now lives in B, but is visible from A, when clicked on, it jumps you over to the thread's actual location in B.

You'll see my thread in BF:Evo/Painting and Modelling if it works. I wouoldn't want to go wholesale shadowing topics without permisision from the admins, and I haven't figured a way to leave a thread where it is and send a shadow somewhere else, other than moving it and then moving it back and shadowing the second move.

Should be a standard Mod feature.

As far as I know, the shadow is always left in the forum it is moved from when that option is chosen. Another forum I mod on, does not have an option to post a shadow into another forum.
