Fleet program

I think I would give SVC more credit as a business man than that. :) Who knows, basically the program itself does not care what the control sheet looks like. I could use the same program layout for Federation Commander to generate fleets and control sheets if SVC wanted to . . . Heck It could do NA or B5 too, although the points scheme for those are harder to manage than for ACTA:SF.

No worries though. Maybe the program will push Mongoose to new heights with their official product. Plus, it is good programming practice for me anyway. So . . I will muddle on . . .

The new layout is kind of growing on me . . but I will wait for some other comments to see what people prefer.

Those of you that have the program, if you PM or email me what fleets you use the most, I will try and get those done up in the new format for testing use first... whatever format that turns out to be.

The revised sheet looks even better. It would be nice to see this as an official product. I know I'd buy it.

Can I get in on this as well?

And is there a way to add new ships into the info?

I'm working on something I'd like to provide ship sheets with (with fighters on as well) for ease of player use.

Hi Ben,

Adding data to be used to create a fleet list is very easy. Once that is done, though, a control sheet image for any ships added must be created and saved for use by the part of the program that creates the pdf control sheets. This is what takes the most time when adding new data or making changes to the layout of the control sheets. (Which is why I asked for suggestions on the board here before changing the way they look now.)

PM me about what you want to do, and maybe I can help out.

Oh yeah. I had to make some pretty heavy changes to my card format to accommodate the sheer volume of hull/shields and weapon systems that thing has. Thankfully it's just the one ship...

At least until the other fleets get theirs, heh.
