First game with proper minis :D (pics)

Game over view.
well 3 friends came over to try it out, and loved it, the game was a fight to the bitter end, the pla so need cover to survive and there is nothing more frustrating than watching the EFT pass an armour save grrrrrrr.
the brits won the game evan thought he first shot on the warrior was a total kill !!! the challenger tank on the other hand was a pain in the rear end to kill, one chally did go down to a combination of tow hits and eventualy a type 99 hit to finish it of.
great game and one bud is chompin at the bit to try the MEA.
all i need now is to add alot more larger structures to the table, but that takes time like all good things.

Evil, have you seen the Amera castings Multistory buildings?
I got some in preparation for EVO, really good and pretty cheap.

the facory is amera and i got it as part of a test order. after the game we ll decided we need more buildings, sctter cover just sint enough in this game but still it was a problem for both sides nd still a great great game. but yeah more amera terrain to be ordered next month i think, maybe next week
as GF is away so i cna build lot of terrain with no funny looks.
i bought some more stuff today at my LGS and now have 2k brits and PLA plus 1k yanks and 500 points of MEA, gonna bring the mea upto a k soon, but that takes ££££
this is the great thing though we could just get on and play, now all i need to do is spend my hobby time building terrain ..!!! ace.

Looks kinda funny :lol: . For some reason your unfinished chemical storage doesn't blend well with the Amera stuff.
like i said originaly this is a table in progress, bit like a bunch a of unpainted figs on a games table i spose.
the terrain for this si going to be a big big project, and i cant do it over night as i have bills to pay
if you fancy throwing me £128 i can order the bits i need to finish the table.
it was more a case of lets play the game, and throw nwhatever comes to hand on the table.
eventualy the table will be painted inbetween the roads, so they blend in with the terrain better and look less scifi, but il keep the roads as is. could take a month or 2, il probably do it over a few days so its all done matching rather than in bits, inbetween now and then il just bodge stuff together, and play games.
after all its the playing thats important isnt it.
