damn tiny things.

I think it would have been better for Mongoose to make them a little bigger and put either 2 or 3 on a stand. We would be able to get more detail on them and mongoose probably would save some money.

Back to cleaning them up. /sigh

Get the old B5 Wars scale fighters (I think they can be picked up on the net still) and just mount them individually. They will give you a decent sized model to work with. The current ones are more like 3-D counters than real models.

Always preferred the Fleet Action scale fighters to the larger ones (FA scale are the same as Mongoose fighters) as even although they are still far, far too big compared to the ships (if they were you'd be painting pinhead-sized fighters. Count yourself lucky ) they look less out of place than the bigger B5W ones. Which are pretty nice models. Either way the stands are just really markers and both are equally valid in-game. If Mongoose have the molds for the fighters I wonder if they intend to produce a B5 fighter combat game at some point ?

Yah I just got done putting the Nials on the stand. Still hait thems. 3 to a stand look really nice. I picked up some wooden disks and they are working great. Next the starfurys.

Three to a stand is the way to go, unless you like the look of a huge mob of fighter you get with full hex bases. I ended up making my own bases, as I didn't like the two levels to the fight look you got from the low hex bases. Also I'm a cheapskate, and wanted to get double the amount of fighters for my money :lol:

Same hehe. But I actually think it looks a lot better then the hexes.
