D22:D33 is being double counted in the orignal formula.

This one does the trick.

=IF(C4=S2,SUM(D22:D33),SUM('9b-Optional'!C121:C124,D22:D33))+IF(C3="No",0,SUM(D15:D17))

Ok, just tested with the c version and it's giving me the same wrong numbers for the life support cost.
Ok, following the formula from the Summary sheet eventually lead me to the Staterooms page and the Life Support/Month section that I just now noticed. :🤦: Ok, in there it's charging for the People *1000, but since this is a low berth it's not correct. The Quarters line on that box does show the correct the amount, and that's being added together for the Summary. Not sure how to decouple those.

Basically, the People line is including the people number from the added quarter type. The User Defined lines should not be included in the Y33 number calculation for Life Support cost.

To pile on, Y8 uses this formula.

=(H18+H40)*X8

Sadly, H18 and H50 are tonnage and low berths are .5 tons each, so this formula should be:

=(H18+H40)*2*X8

Saw that when I was digging in to fix the user defined stuff

Hopefully, this will do it. Last update for a while, Have a game tonight.

I'm getting #VALUE! errors on the Summary page. It happens when I choose No Bridge for a module.

And it is now only double charging me for Life Support on the Stateroom and Ship Info Ship's Expenses box. It's still counting all the people in the user defined low berth in both Quarters and People in the Life Support/Month box. Perhaps we don't need the Quarters line? Actually, after thinking about it more, it's doing it correctly. I should be setting a 0 value for the Life Support Costs per Ton value now, since the Low Berth toggle sets it properly for the calculation. Though that does mean that if there is a Life Support Cost per Ton value listed, it needs to override the People value unless the Cost per Ton value is in addition to the standard costs. Go ahead and ignore this, it's working as expected now that I know what is expected.
Got all that? ;)

How does the sheet deal with pop-up spinal and bay weapons when using Adjustable Hull? Is there some notation on the sheet or is it just assumed?

So, when you use this rule to alter the drive emissions and your thrusters plates are now concealed by the adjustable hull, does this mean they only provide 1/2 of the Thrust?
Does it affect them? The quote was about weapons.

Edit: I don’t see anything about concealed maneuver drives, though I know another book covered them. Looking now.

I think they may need to re-edit the section on Adjustable Hulls.

"ADJUSTABLE HULL Large sections of the hull consist of bands and strips that change the hull’s overall shape, making the ship have the same outline as any other ship of the same tonnage, hull configuration, hull options and external systems, including mimicry of attached modules, although these are non-functional."

This is the exact quote, but what I think they meant to say was this.

"ADJUSTABLE HULL Large sections of the hull consist of bands and strips that change the hull’s overall shape, making the ship have the same outline as any other ship of the same tonnage. Hull configuration, hull options and external systems, including mimicry of attached modules, are possible although these are non-functional."

My question about the maneuver drives is due to being able to cover them with hull plates thus reducing their signature.

Found the answer.

Also, with getting all weapons as being pop-up at no additional cost, what is the normal cost of making a large bay or spinal mount pop-up?
