evo bases?

Mongoose
are the bigger models going to be put on a base like in a the bigger WotC models? also are those the final poses for most of the models, because the forth what-not-it looks quite static. i'ld actually kinda like em on bases, not necessarilly flocked or anything, but that would be kinda nice.

Im fairly certain the bigger things like the Forth will be posable (Because I remember making a crack about how technically that made them action figures :D), and they probably wont be on bases either, center point measurements kinda make them redundant.

i don't know if i like the posibility of that, especially if their not on bases, cus the joints get worn after a while it'll be harder for it to keep its balance. i also just am not a big fan of the idea of them being posible at all, because i think that it'll turn off the gamers around here.

Speaking of bases, does anyone know if the SST EVO bases will match the BE EVO? I was going to paint up some of my old MI, but wasn't sure what to do for the bases.

why on earth would that turn people off? I try to make my larger models as poseable as possable!

No problems with possable models, as long as they are sturdy enough to take repeated handeling and occasionaly being dropped onto the floor (and for some being eaten by young children). Too me the durability of the models is MORE important than poseability.

Real men don't play with dolls. Or so goes the theory. Could be cultural differences, could just be a local thing.

You know the current marauders are posable as well...So I suppose same fix that stops them being posable would stop prepainted being posable...

I don't recall anybody complaining about marauders being posable. Or arachnid warriors

Slight difference between posable models that you glue together and models that come pre-painted and pre-assemebled and are posable. I suppose there is nothing to stop us posing them the way we want and then adding a tiny amount of superglue to lock them in that pose.

i think what it is arond hear is that it just kinda adds a little bit of frivoulous-ness (i kan't spelll) to the game so people don't take it seriously, its kinda hard to take something seriously when your playing a game with something your son/little brother/nephew/whatever has drawers full of

Hi guys,

The bases for SST Evo will be the same style, but a different colour, and larger where needed.

As for posable models, this is a realistic way for us to get 'different' models on the table, without charging the earth for them. The Exosuits will have moveable arms, for example, while Warrior Bugs will have posable legs.

Sounds good to me :) If the joints start to get loose, or become a pain I am sure a tiny frop of superglue should lock them solid (or plastic glue if they are made from the plastics that superglue melt).

P.S. A heads up regarding whether superglue will ruin the plastics would be much appreciated at some point when its relevenat i.e. when the models are due for release.

NUTS!!
