Enigma - Rising Tide

I figured you lot might know a bit about this game. It's an alternative history naval sim. Pretty decent, although realism has taken a bit of a back seat to make it more accessible. Sadly the company that made it went belly-up before the second game came out, or at least, that's what I got from the weird corporatese on their forum.

I was playing it the other day and wondering how easy it would be to knock up stats for some of the fictional ships in the game, like the League of Free Nations' Alliance-class destroyer.

Anyone had similar thoughts?
 
Its pretty straightforward to knock up stats for new ships (especially DDs). If you have a set of characteristics (armament, deep displacement, speed, crew, armour, etc.) I'm sure one of the Playtest Team could stat them up for you :)
 
Huh. The game doesn't tell you most of that. I can get the gross tonnage (not sure if that's the same as displacement or not), top speed, armament and a vague suggestion of how hard to kill the ships are.

The game works on hit points as far as I can tell. You can count how many shells or torpedoes it takes to kill each type of ship and hit location, range, etc don't seem to make much difference.

Getting models might be more complicated than stats. The fictional ships don't look much like anything that really existed, as far as I know anyway. I suppose something passable could be scratch-built but I'm no sculptor...
