Enhance (Characteristic) Sorcery spell

The description of this spell is very brief so I'd like to raise a few issues.

I assume that derived attributes such as HP, combat actions, skills, etc are appropriately increased when a stat is raised this way. However does enhancing POW also increase the Magic Points the character has available?

I asume enhancing SIZ is going to have an Incredible Hulk style effect on worn clothing and armour.

Increasing SIZ and/or CON is going to increase hit points per location. How is damage handled once the spell wears off? e.g. I have an arm with 3 HP. This is increased using Enhance SIZ and/or CON to 5 HP, but then I take 3 HP damage taking it down to 2 HP left. How many HP do I have in that location when the spell wears off?

Can Enhance SIZ be cast on inanimate objects?

Hi Simon,

Yes. Magic Points are an attribute, so they increase just as any other derived attribute will.

Of course! Best not to cast Enhance SIZ on yourself until you've got out of that prized plate mail armour...

When the spell drops or wears off, HPs return to normal, but the damage you've taken doesn't reduce proportionately. So if you had 3 HP in an arm, raised to say, 5 through Enhance CON, and took 5 damage to it, you'll actually be worse-off when the spell drops - unless you've got some healing magic to deal with the effects.

Can Enhance SIZ be cast on inanimate objects?

Yes. Although the text implies that the spell is for organic things, objects have a SIZ rating (and, at GM's discretion, possibly STR, CON and CHA values too), so the spell can be cast on them.
