unless something is broken. then power suddenly can become very limiting indeed.Power is unlikely to be a limiting factor. Waste heat should be, but Traveller generally ignores that one.
Buckets. I'll leave it at that. The freshers can't handle the waste.
Don't wanna be drinking from that fountainBuckets. I'll leave it at that.
Ah, the cutter's "metro station" module.
I remember going round HMS Victory as a child, and the guide pointing out the wooden bucket on one of the decks. "And this is the general purpose bucket. It is used for a general purpose."Buckets. I'll leave it at that.
Once a bucket has been used for "a general purpose," I very much hope that it will no longer be considered suitable for use with the drinking water. Purposes should not be THAT general.I remember going round HMS Victory as a child, and the guide pointing out the wooden bucket on one of the decks. "And this is the general purpose bucket. It is used for a general purpose."
HG Page 51 gives additional Life Support costs for High and Luxury Staterooms, 3,000 and 5,000. SOC matters if you are travelling in the manner in which you are accustomed. Why is the price of everything in Traveller not connected to SOC? Since We do not have and do not want the granularity in Traveller to have a million different brands of Ramen, why don't we just have some formula or a chart with percentages in the CSC or someplace? The average SOC 8 guy is going to be buying different brands, of the same stuff, than the SOC 2 guy, and the SOC 8 guy's stuff will cost more.
Edit - The Dilettante book covered this for high SOC individuals, but I haven't seen it applied for low SOC individuals.
