Effects of the change of Printing source

Mongoose
Can I just pose a couple of questions for Mongoose following the change of printing facility?

a) Are the listed costs of the books going to be amended, and if so will it be up or down?
b) How will the release dates be affected? Will a revised list of dates be required or is everything going to the previous schedule? As a Glorantha specialist I am especially interested in Dara Happa Stirs and the potential of the two new Monsters volumes

Hi there,

_If_ prices are amended, they will likely go down.

We are working through our back catalogue for printing at the moment, but by the end of March we should be fully back on track.

I do not know if it is related to the new printing thing but one of my latest acquisition : one of the Lurker's guide (I do not remember which one) seems odd/ I try to explain but I lack the good word in english...well the pages seem not flat like the binding was mounted too tightly...

Faenril - that's to do with their on-site printing works. However, due to Mongoose now going back to the old way - printing via printing companies, there should be little to no problems with new copies of books.

Well, I wonder if my book can be replaced ?

Of course - all our books are back by a guarantee. Drop me a line at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com, and we'll sort you out!

It'll be the Lurker's Guide to one of the following:

1) Freedom Station
2) Telepaths
3) Pak'mara
4) Starports.

IIRC, those are the only Lurker's guides released so far.

Well I can only see it as a good thing. The printing at home was a good idea, but it didn't half create some shoddy books.

How about making the covers of some of the B5 books not so dark?

The Ragged Edge and Ships of the Galaxycome to mind as being too dark, the images are hard to see well.
