I don't think that Centauri Admiral should worry much... it looks like they can use as many players on their side as possible. The EA side has nearly twice as many people signed up!

I phoned mine in and OB himself took my booking so I should be in. No fleet confirmation yet though. Hope I'm ISA, I've just gotten the hang of many WS fleets.

Also my credit card got debited so I'll asssume I'm confirmed.

Hope we get to know what fleets we are using soon. I am still having fun trying to get some Drakh carriers and cruisers along with that all elusive mothership. Seems that there is a Drakh ship famine at the moment.

I hope I get my 1st choice as I have all the minis for it

Well its centauri or bust - I've just finished painting up and base naming my entire 35 points at battle worth of fleet, all of which I shall be bringing to the campaign weekend, so those there can see I'm no lying bugger.

Been a lot of effort though.

I thought that the Centauri poison and assasinate each other for their positions. Last man standing gets the job.

There should be special rules for the Drakh. They should be able to override 1 choice of the Admiral in keeping with their nature.


In fact it would be nice if each faction had a "campaign" special rule. Like Minbari / ISA can get to know I choice of the opposing team through the use of Rangers and information gathering.

I am not adverse to offering my command services; but I believe the election of grand admirals is taking place on the day? Don't see any reason though why we can't collectively determine this before hand; depends what we all think is best.

Perhaps we should have a private vote via PM?

As far as I see it, every player on each side will collectively decided who they think is their best choice for Grand Admiral, I think its less of a vote and more of a measured collective decision based on tactical/strategical skill and and ability to resource manage adeptly.

Bear in mind that some of the guys know eachother and so will know other peoples strengths and weakness before hand. I don't really know anyone at this weekend bar the people who are coming with me, both of which are on the enemy side as it happens, so I couldn't give a toss what they think anyway.lol

While we are on the subject of strengths and weaknesses, I don't have any weaknesses but plenty of strengths, like good looks. Actually I suppose hubris is my one weakness, but as I have now identified it, I shall eliminate it therefore bringing fully around to the earlier part of this statement.

Oh and don't listen to anything, any of my supposed "friends" that frequent this board may tell you.
