I imagine that the only way that the Gaim would worry Katadder's Drakh fleet would be if Ben converted all his fighters to missiles, or got his - stupidly good - boarding drones to get on the Drakh ships...
If Katadder takes a War level ship, with it's 4 pt GEG, the Gaim with have very little joy in trying to hurt it, unless Ben's not going to have 2 queen Battle ships and 6 carriers...

I think this is the key part of the battle here - Drakh have no real answer to Gaim Breaching Pods other than to do enough damage first. Either you take larger ships and they get boarded or you take smaller ships and they get Klikkitaked...it's not like they don't cause a load of crits anyway.

I can't imagine that a Grand Admiral will know in advance where the Gaim are going to be, so specifically sending Drakh against them may not be an option.

Of course the Grand Admiral will be able to take his own flagship to thwart the Gaim and direct reinforcements against them.

forget buying him, thats a waste of Ducats. I will quite happily take on the Gaim as I know what I am doing there with Drakh v Gaim
yes theres boarding pods to worry about, and crit seeking fighters/missiles but thats it. the rest of the Gaim fleet may as well not even be there.

Me personally hope to fight the gaim with my mighty Regime because I have never fought them before and I do enjoy a challenge.

But on the other hand making Centauri ships space gabbage does have a certain pleasure for this Narn Player.

I look forward to playing against new players, makes its refreshing to see new concepts and finding the unexpected.

Just hope that all our 1st choices get though.

I hope so too as I am in the process of painting my Drakh fleet lol never get around to painting fleets until I am going to a tourney. maybe should take narn to next one so I actually paint some of them.

Out of what . . . 6 games against the narn, I've suffered 1 loss, and he boasts. I still make my success rate against the narn regime at something in the region of 82%.

That of course would make the narns success rate . . . . oooh 18% . . . . not something I'd be boasting about darling. :wink:
