Dual use wepons in Wayfarer

In RQII / soon to be Wayfarer, is stabbing with a dagger a different skill to throwing a dagger at a foe?

And if they are 2 different comabt skills, is there any synergy between them?
e.g. add crit range to {other} use
 
Combat Sytles are oneof the more "complicated" and least defined areas of RQ /W.

Personally my view would be to split Melee and Missile Combat Styles for several reasons

1. As most warriors end up having 3 or more Combat Styles they can buy it easily
2. It soften more intersting and characterful to have someone skilled in melee but not in missile and vice versa -also means parties can be a bit more specalised. More like the archtypes within the films and novels that I base my games on.
3. Reduces the - My class is "Ninja" syndrome - I am skilled in all weapons ever made........ :roll:
