I've decided I'd better have a T-Rex or two on standby for my upcoming Hotdog Run game, so I need to come up with some stats.
Now, I've no experience with the system yet, but what do folk think of:
Cursed Earth T-Rex
Str 30 (+3?), Dex 3 (-1), End 28 (+3?)
Int 1 (-2),Instinct 8 (+)
Skills: Recon 2; Melee (natural weapons) 2; Survival 3
Traits: Thick, scaly skin 10; Bite attack (4d6+3); Tail Thrash / Head barge (3d6); Mass 7 tonnes
It would be shot to unconciousness by 14 average SE shots, 7 Hi-Ex or 4 AP (the latter surprised me...). Two average bites vs a (Str 8, Dex 8, End 8, Armour 6) judge would pretty much finish them off, with the max damage killing them outright.
Also, are there any rules in any of the Mongoose Traveller supplements that deal with fighting big foes? eg. higher stat DMs? I guess a bit of common sense in applying Personal Range would be handy...
?
Any help much appreciated..
Cheers,
Ned
