Ok, I'm trying to make a K'kree character as an excuse to make some K'kree ships but I have questions.
Pre-Term: Do they get any additional skill from high EDU like other characters? With the base +2 to EDU K'kree will have +1 DM in EDU on average
Careers: None of the careers list a Survival or a Promotion chance. Promotion is discussed before the careers on pg 128, but no targets are listed. And while Commissions are mentioned, there is no information about what they mean or how to do them. Commission seems meaningless in the careers as increase in SOC is the only way to move up social class and if you're already a Noble, you can only move up the level of household you serve, not to a separate officer class.
The Patriarchy checks each term do not appear to be associated with Promotion.
I am tempted to say, survival is always an END 7+ check. Promotion is a SOC 8+ check, with Patriarchy skill level as a DM.
Does an Outsider K'kree use the Patriarch stat bonuses or the non-Patriarch stat bonuses for character creation? Or do they just get the STR +6?
