Does suppression and loss of unit leader stack?

Like the title says...

1) So does unit that for example gets suppressed twice, losing its next two actions stack if they lose their commanding model as well in the firestorm as the loss of a unit leader, making the unit lose its next two actions again?

Does this then mean that a unit cant act for their next four actions or does it still count as only two actions they lose?

Not to even go to the poor saps reactions which would be limited to movement...

2) And on suppression in general... does the suppression dice count against the units modelcount Before the dead models are removed or after?

1) Being suppressed and losing your unit leader. Boy ,that's some pretty serious doodoo you're in. Losing four actions seems about right as the unit needs to recover from being suppressed and the corporal(or whoever) needs to rally his men and get them thinking again.

2) I'd say you count before as otherwise suppressing would probably occur too often.

My $.02

1. I don't believe there is anything in the rules to let them stack, but I would have to check.

2. If they are dead, they would already have had dice allocated to them :)

1) Yeah... bad doodoo... but has happened already... The rules talk about losing your Next action... I guess the question is does it refer to the units next Available action or do both those events refer to the same two actions that the unit would receive. I could personally defend both sides as getting gunned down And losing your unit leader would be pretty horrid... but from games side of things, it would be very destructive for a player to just get so unlucky

btw, what about commanders that allow an additional action to be given to one unit? Can that additional action be given to a suppressed/leaderless unit? I'd say Hell Yeah as this is exactly where they come in...

2) Well yes, but do killing dice Not count for suppression then? Sort of... So you do count the dice Before removing the dead...? Or you dont? As this may differ if the unit will be suppressed once or twice...

say a unit of 6 guys bites 9 dice worth of suppression, out of those dice, three are enough to kill/target followed with a failed/nonexistant armoursave and the rest are not 1's. This leads the remaining three have six dice still counted against them? Or is that 6 of them have nine dice counted against them? Or that three of them have 9 dice of suppression?

Seeing your buddies melon get popped and wiping brain off your face would have a significant emotional impact in my opinion - i would plan to include those kill dice in the supression result... and maybe even count them for double.

I think counting for double would really skew the power of suppression.

You stay down, until you get really really mad, then lord help whoever shoots at you.

Reading MoH winners acounts, and Sliver Star winners, it is amazing what they say, "Just doing my job", "saw my buddy get hit and got really mad", and so on.

Many times there is no officer that sees it and no medal, but these guys walked through MG fire in some cases, taking hits and get back up throw a pineapple and kept going.

A USMC Unit with MGs Ready, puts out 11dice of suppression.

Thats alot.

I have heard there will be units or rules for units that ignore Suppression.
