DMV (Washington-DC, Maryland, Virginia)

I saw someone mention Falls Church, Virginia in one of the Threads. I live there. Are there any Travellers in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia) that would want to do a meet-up at a game store sometime late this year, say December? Maybe get a few tables and run some in person one-shot games. I know I can't do October as I will be going to TravellerCon-USA.

Hey Colin! I'd love to do that. And also planning on trying to go to Traveller-Con if I can sweet talk my better half into releasing me from my spousal duties for a few days haha. I am feeling a lot more comfortable with the game to the point I feel like I wouldn't necessarily be a newbie, rules illiterate, burden to other players in a game.

I might be away during the end of December for the holidays but baring any personal, natural, or electoral disasters early December should be great.

I propose we shoot for Saturday, December 7, 2024 10 am for a Mongoose Mini-Meetup at Victory Comics , Falls Church Virginia. They sell some Mongoose products. I have the link on this post. Magic the Gathering has a tournament at 12 so we would only have two hours, but the place is pretty busy. If this doesn't work for you we can change it.

You should have a scenario where the dastardly Zhodani launch a sneak attack against the Imperium in the opening move of the Fifth Frontier War. Resulting of course in the Imperium declaring war on the Zhodani (once they hear about it of course).

Maybe one day. I have one friend who I've been playing Call of Cthulhu with since 1985. We've said we'll visit Providence one day. Another friend is a Tennessee Titans fan, so he wants to go to Nashville. We haven't quite got the money together yet.

I am now going to PAX Unplugged (December 6-8, 2024 Philadelphia, PA) so I can't do December 7th. Is Satuday, November 23rd good for people?
