The Initiative system has been greatly simplified. I approve of getting rid of the weapon Recoil/Heft considerations as they were fiddly. But it does seem a bit odd that there is now no reward for delaying your action (taking a risk of being hit during the current round) and then getting the reward of acting first the next round.
