Just to say I hope to put up my Darkness Rising project / obsession up for download in the next couple of days.
Its presently about 6MB as a PDF / 6+ MB as Word and should be about 74 pages A4.
Darkness Rising is an alternative setting for the Babylon 5: A Call to Arms game where history first diverged in a significant way a thousand years ago. The Shadows defeated the Minbari, razed their home world and were only stopped from annihilating that race by direct intervention by the Vorlons.
The Minbari recovered but became an insular, defensive race, full of anger at their humiliation and awaiting a chance for revenge. A violent encounter with an overconfident Earth Alliance threw them into a state of rage culminating in an assault on the human home world.
This time it was the Shadows that saved their chosen inheritors and in doing set the stage for a final galactic war between the two ancient powers and their philosophies. The Vorlons and Shadows continue to strengthen their pawns ready for this conflict and soon the galaxy will burn with their fury.
The project also contains some great original artwork from friends on the net.
Full fleet lists for the EA (with lots of lovely Shadowtech), Minbari, Shadows and Vorlons - all with new ships and Unique Personalities. There are new ships and unique personalities or ships for all the league and the same for Narn, Drakh and Centauri. Also Variant fleet lists for Psi Corps/Rebels and the Anla’Shok (ISA).
