Dark Matter scyfy series

Nuns with guns; if they'd taken a more forty kayish approach, this could have been far more entertaining; also needless NPC deaths.

Dark Matter seems to have improved, though you can still feel that they have to juggle production costs; we now have the urchin and insurgent archetypes.

The android could be called Seven.

So up to episode 11 and we've learned some of Two's secrets.

Is it possible the idyllic farmyard life Five experienced was actually Three's and not One's?

Its just that as a former Corporate Executive being raised on a farm seems unlikely but who knows?

Is the Raza the ship Six stole and if so does that mean he was the former Captain of the ship?

Would explain why he got to choose the code for the vault after all!

Apparently Wil Wheaton is marked as playing Alex Rook who has yet to make an appearance so far so is he a Corporate behind the development of Two's special abilities?

Unexpected betrayal sounds so unlikely at this stage the only people we haven't really seen enough of their background are Two, Three and the Android.

After all if she's experiencing emotions maybe she was effected by the same amnesia effect that plagued the others... is it possible she pulled a Hal and caused the mind wipe?

Do we discover Three is actually an undercover cop for the Galactic Authority?

Maybe One's wife's murder was done to get him a place on the Raza, but if the GA are that bad wouldn't that mean they killed her and blamed him for their actions?

Is One about to regain his lost memories and we discover he was anything but good?

So many questions and only 2 episodes left to go with no indications whether its going to be renewed?!

Midichlorians as nanites, or something like that.

Are you pulling the rest from the comic?

Still enjoying the show.

I am trying VERY HARD not to go read ahead with the comic. I have been successful with Walking Dead and hope to be as strong with this show. I really like it and hope it gets picked up for further seasons.

I don't know.

Here is an io9 on some Dark Matter concept art: http://io9.com/exclusive-dark-matter-concept-art-is-loaded-with-glorio-1705562602

Pulling this back to Traveller...

I think the 800-ton Mercenary Cruiser would be a nice fit for the Rasa. While visually smaller than what is shown in the show, and obviously the wrong shape. The Merc. Cruiser is just about the right size to be intimidating to most comercial vessels but not overpowering.

The Android could be the physcial manifestation of the Intellect Software program.

Add in Fire Control and Auto-Repair and the ship can almost do everything shown in the show. Add in some Expert programs for other skills like Astrogation etc. and you can almost perfectly duplicate the Rasa with a very small, non-technical crew.

Put them on the Rimward edge of the Spinward Marches or Trojan Reaches and replace the Galactic Authority with the Imperium and you have almost the same setting. MegaCorps are really running things, but if the GA gets involved it does so with a heavy hand.

Both Dark Matter and Killjoys, I think that might have been it for Defiance, it is also disturbing to see Z Nation had higher ratings than all of them. Continuum is also back for a final season.
