Cutting/converting figs to create new poses?

For those who already have the figures, are you planning to cut and repose some of the limbs? How easy or hard would it be for these particular figs? I just think the USMC guys in particular should have more guys in a pose where they're firing or aiming their guns.

I'd suggest using a sharp knife and buying a jewellers saw. The plastic is quite hard.
